I have a query regarding landing address. I can drive to Vancouver as its closer for us from California . However all our friends reside in Toronto . We plan to their address for temporary residence as we are going to be there for only 2 days
Can someone guide us if we can land in 1 city and give the mailing address of another city as a temporary address for SIN and other purposes ?
Would there be questions abt it at the border or at Canada ?

Pls advise , Plan to make a trip next month

Questions will be asked at the time of doing landing formalities, you may have to tell that you would stay in Vancouver with your friend for 2-3 days and then drive to Toronto where you would stay permanently. For PR card this will work, I am not sure of SIN.
SIN you can apply once you come to stay and work in Canada.

my COPR indicates winnipeg as my destination. time change.. i booked for toronto already... is it ok to the immigration officer in my POE? i want to stay in toronto not winnipeg. is there any problem in the airport?

Yes, u can. The landing@Vancouver & the PRC address of Toronto would be accepted (taken that u r a FSW case). But, if u state that u'd be returning back to the US in a few days - then the BSO would decline to process your PRC apps. So, do as Explorer suggested.
