Dear All:

I with my family landed on 14th July 2010. the procedure was too simple.

The only advice to take the address in printed form so that it will be easy for the imigration officer to type the PR papers.

It was really nice experience all officers were extremely helpful and cooperative.

By the time I have completed my process my laguage was kept on side from the belt. Went for customs again the experience was wonderfull. They might have seen that I am traveling with 02 children they even not open a single bag.

I took the flight of Emirates from Dubai, but I will not recommend the flight the amount we are paying for quality it was not there, secondly in stretch 14 hours with children It was quite boring and hectic.

I shifted to Brampton completed my SIN requirements. Again the office staff was very good and helpful.

Wish you all avery happy landing.

With lots of love and wishes.....................

Bye

Welcome to Canada
1st time arrivals on PR - customs at airport normally do not open the bags.Stll dont carry any meat, diary products, lentels ( should be packed with companys name and details on it), vegetables, fruits.

Hi, congrats to you on your successful landing. I have my visa now and I am planning on landing next month. Apart from SIN, what else do we need to do when we land there. I am working in US now and I would be in Canada only for a day or two. So I need to plan everything correctly. Thanks in advance for your help.

Dont tell immigration people that you will not stay for more than 2 days, give address of someone known so that your PR card is delivered at that address. Have a typed list of goods brought and goods to follow.

yumar

please share your NOC and Timeline.

I wouldnt recommend Emirates's Dubai to Toronto flight to anyone, Last week one of my relatives went to Toronto and the flight service was awful. No light foods between the time of Lunch and Dinner. Passengers of Business class got different kinds of foods apart from Lunch and Dinner times. It couldnt start its journey in time and reached Toronto an hour late. About the long time of 14 hours, it had nothing to do with the flight's quality, The route was opened this way !

Congrat on your safe landing.

Thank you. But I was told that we can tell them that we are here just for completing the landing procedures, which is absolutely acceptable from their end.

Nice to hear about your happy landing
Explore and enjoy!

What is the meaning of goods to "brought" and goods to "follow"
Thanks in advance
