Landed Last week though Rainbow Bridge

Hi All,

We finally landed by Rainbow Bridge, Ontario Canada last week.

Crossed the bridge in own Car.
Officer at Canada Post was very dry, how many people landing? Gave a yellow slip and we parked our car
Waited for 1 hour in the Queue, no idea what they were doing though there was no one in front of me.
Officer asked me question why you are here? Landing today OK he took our COPR papers. Told us to wait and came back got signature and stapled the copy to passport. R u carrying any currency? Yes, XYZ amount things to follow list and Car to import.
He sends us to Custom side, New Officer He said you cannot import the car since it is on Loan and you don’t have a title, I Said no problem.
Stamped my list to follow, enter my VIN number and also he went to check my VIN number of car. He didn’t care what I am bringing and what I have to bring just signed and said thanks.

You are permanent resident!

OK no reaction on our side, though we waited for this day for 7 years and spent so much of money on the process.

What city was the port of entry mentioned in your application? Did you give a friend's/relative's address for getting your cards?

A couple of questions, if you could answer, I would be grateful and would help others as well.
1) After completing the landing did you go into Canada or just turned back into US?
2) If you entered Canada after completing your Landing, did u have any issues at all? I am asking this since I presume you might have US Plates on your car, I had an issue because the CBSA officer mentioned after my landing that I became a PR of Canada and can no longer drive my car with US Plates and hence I had to turn back and drive into US without entering Canada.
