I had until Feb to Land so I decided to land in December, then return home, settle my things and then go back to Canada.
I went in thru Buffalo-Niagara; I identified myself and was then told to head across the street to the main office.
There I was asked if I was planning on staying there and if I had an address. I told the truth.
Everyone was very nice.
I was told to sign some papers and was then given a large paper where it stated that I had landed.
And that was it... I asked and they told me to come back when I was going to live there full time and bring that piece of paper.
Somehow I feel incomplete... is that Ok? The only thing she noted is that I cross the border by land, as that paper was not worthy for air travel.
I am from a VISA exempt country so I don't require one to reenter Canada.
I may just be paranoid... but I was left with a feeling as if I still had something else to do...
Can someone clear this doubt for me?
