Hello all my friends here,
I just did my landing at the airport today. my husband and I came back from our vacation from Paris and did the landing. Im here to share my experience with you guys.
when you get off the airplane, there are police check your passport first, then go to customs. there are two lines, one for Canadian, one for visitor. go to the visitor line. show them your passport and that paper you do on the airplane(forgot the name the paper, about what kind stuff you bring into Canada. how much worth.) then keep going, the security guy will lead you to the other customs room. it's the place you do all your paper work. the line was ok today, waited around 30mins. the visa officer was nice, asked simple questions like the address you want your pr card send to and any criminal charges. then sign your paper, he stamp your passport. then all done :) there are information centre right beside the office for new comers. you can get some information. I have been live in Canada for 6 years. so I told them I don't need it, the lady kind a little bit upset with me, but, hey, i don't care anymore, im PR now :)
if you have any questions about Canada, anything, feel free to send me messages. immigration is a really hard process, have a strong believe my friends, you will be ok :)
good luck! ;D
