we landed yesterday at Montreal international airport. I was the principal applicant of PNP. I went to Bangladesh and bring my wife with me and we both landed at the same time.
we had to wait about two hours for total processing. Officer asked me if I have enough funds to established in Canada. and I replied that I have permanent job in Canada, and I believe I would not have to show any funds while landing. She told me, its mandatory for everyone to have that funds in hand while landing. I told her I have 5 thousand in my bank and 4 thousand in my hand. and if I can bring more money from my parents if needed.
she told me its a mandatory to have that funds available, and told me this time I will process , and seems like she gave us a favor.
what is the next step for PNP applicant? I remember that I received a documents with PNP nomination letter saying I have to inform PNP office after becoming PR
