Finaly landed early this morning at 3:00am. A 26" u-haul truck of stuff and my car. Landing went great, imported belongings and car with no problems. Only problem I had was when I exported the car and had to deal with US CBP officers with attitude (go figure). Hopefully the last time I ever sat my foot in the US.

Good luck to the rest of you!

Did you export the car before you land? how was it? also from which part of US you drive? I live in Atlanta and I was thinking about the U-Hall too. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you and CONGRATULATIONS!!!.

I crossed the border at Port Huron, MI. Yes, I did export the car and it's an easy process as long as you don't have to deal with some American a-holes at CBP. All you need to do is fax your original title to the CBP border crossing 72 hrs prior to exporting. Once there, stop and get your export stamp on the title. That's all you need.

Coming to Canada is a bless! Friendly and helpfull people. I stoped at the booth and told IO I was there to land. I pulled off to the side with my 26' truck and went to Immigration. I signed the landing papers and went over to Customs. They finalized the car import papers and reviewed my goods inventory list (13 pages... very detailed). All in all it did not take more than 15 min. Spend some time on the invetory list and be prepared to tell them of any items worth over 10,000CAD.

Good luck!
