In 2012, I travelled on an 'Emergency Certificate' to India from Australia since my passport had been damaged. Subsequently, I was issued a renewed passport in India (my home country) for which I had to submit the EC to the passport office. However, I do not have an entry stamp to India on my passport and I do not have any photocopies of the EC. So my passport (now damaged and cancelled) has an entry stamp to Australia but no exit stamp and entry stamp to India.

Is there any other way I can prove the date on which I returned to India? Will this lead to a rejection of my application?

I am extremely worried and I need to act immediately since I have received an ITA and need to submit my application by March 13.

Please help! :'( :'(

Sorry, I don't understand, please clarify: why would you need to prove the dates you've left Australia and entered India? Why would those dates have any influence on your application?

You do not need to upload the stamps in your passport, only the biometric page of it. There is a section within the application to detail your travel history, this is where you would include your trip to India.

Don't we have to provide proof of the countries in which you have resided in the last 10 years so that we can get the relevant PCC? As far as I understand, we should be able to prove beyond doubt as to where we have been living pretty much since birth so that the countries for which a PCC needs to be provided can be determined.

No, you just fill out the "address history", "personal history", and "travel history" sections, they don't require any proof (and there's no allocated space to upload the proof, anyway). The system judges if you'll need to provide a PCC for a country based on those. You only need to prove things for which you got CRS points.
And none of the "histories" need to be since birth, they're either for the last 10 years or since your 18th birthday, whichever is the latest.

Yeah, you're worrying too much here. The address history is enough to "prove" your residency, along with any other documents you supply for work experience, study, etc.

Besides, most countries don't even stamp their citizens' passports when they enter their own country so your missing stamp is a total non-issue.
