FKL, GreenHak and other members,

I applied for SOWP and got a refusal yesterday stating lack of authenticity of documents. The documents were processed in India by the attorney in Canada. I am confused how to go from here. Please educate me regarding this..

1.) What does lack of authenticity of documents mean?
1.) Can we send them the documents they are requesting for again and reapply?
2.) Would it take the same time for process ie., 2 months?
3.) Do we have to follow the process again? Medicals and everything again?

1) They believe some of the documents you provided were fake / forgeries.
2) You can apply again. However I would order your case notes first to find out which documents they think were fake. You will want to address this issue when you reapply.
3) It could take less time, the same time or more time. Impossible to say.
4) You don't have to do the medicals again but otherwise you have to follow the same process to apply - including paying new fees.

I did read somewhere that the documents have to be notarized.. Do we get them notarized. The marriage certificate, passport?
