This is for my Canadian visitor visa. I couriered my passport from using the 2-way courier label last week to the LA VAC from Seattle.
Now, something urgent has come up and I have to fly back to India next week.
Can someone share the current timelines for the LA VAC (or even the NYC VAC) to get the passports back after submission?
My timeline:
5/12 - Dropped the documents at Fedex dropoff
5/14 - Documents were delivered to the LA VAC
5/17 - Received confirmation from VAC that passport has reached and dispatched to the IRCC office
5/18 - Received confirmation that passport has reached the IRCC office and is under process
Also, worst case scenario, how can I reach out either to VFS or IRCC to return the passport without the stamp or expedite the request. I cannot afford to miss my flight as it's an emergency.
