Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I got the Passport requests today from LA embassy. I was wondering if it is better to go in-person to get PR stamped, so as to avoid another 3-4 week delay in getting our passports back.

If anyone has done it at LA embassy, or any other Canadian embassy within US, please share your experience.

Here is my timeline -
Mar 2008 - Sent application to Buffalo
Jun 2008 - AOR from Buffalo
Mar 2009 - File transferred to LA
Apr 2009 - Application rejected due to lack of IELTS (Luckily it was overturned by lawyer)
May 2009 - Sent IELTS results ( Overall score of 8.5)
Jul 2009 - Medical + PCC requested
Aug 2009 - Sent Medicals to Ottawa
Oct 2009 - Sent PCC + other documents to LA
Nov 2009 - PPR + Landing fees requested by LA embassy

Thank you all

If someone has any idea, please let me know. I do know that CHC ND does not allow in-person stamping, however, I have heard Buffalo allowing in-person stamping of PR. I just want to know about other embassies - the CIC nor embassy websites do not say anything specific.

Tried calling the Los Angeles embassy, today, but there is only a recorded message. If anyone has some idea about other Canadian embassies in US, please share your experience.
