Hi Chickie,
I emailed the RCMP three times this past month and each time they stated his info is not in their system yet. I'm gonna email them every week until I get the answer I wanna hear. I jus hate that I'm pretty much at the end of this whole process and its taking so long. Its frustrating.

Just be prepared when your hubby has to go through this. I'm going crazy right now.

And what sucks is my nxt obstacle is that damn ARC

How can it not be in their system yet after 4 months????? Yes i hear that is a long process too

Good afternoon forum family
So happy to see that everyone seems to be good spirits today, I do so hope it stays that way.
I was very restless last night and was able to log on and catch up on all that I missed in the last few weeks. Wow there certainly has been a lot going on, I laughed, cried and laughed even more WOW at one point I though I would pee my pants you ladies sure have a way of expressing yourselves. LOL the shower thing killed me. Ohhh I remember those days.

@ CharlieD I am so happy that you have settled well in Canada and extremely happy that you are finally with your husband. I am glad that you still come here and help all still going through the process. You will never know how much I appreciate the information you and all the others provided me and the encouragement that was given through the whole process. I appreciate how you kept it real and did as not to allow us to rely on false hope.

@ jamgirl you have some big shoes to fill and I am so happy that you are filling them very well. (lol charlieD not saying you have big feet). You seem to be getting a bit of a fight and some miss understandings , hang in there honey your doing a good job.

@ chickie72 I am so impressed by you I read your story over and over and cried. Could not imagine going though anything like what you and your husband is going trough. Thoughts and prayers with you darling, God is good and you will be reunited with your husband soon safe and sound.

To all 2011 who are still waiting to hear from kgn, I feel your pain I do not know how I would handle it I still was waiting for my family to be together. I pray for all of that this journey comes to an end soon. Stay strong we are all pulling for you.

To the newer people here on the forum please remember that all cases though familiar in some ways are very different in others. Some take 5 months some take longer. I think looking at other peoples time line to judge how long yours will take is only setting yourself up for maybe an unpleasant surprise. Just have faith in God, in your LOVE and in KGN Visa office. I know it sounds bad me saying this and you are all probably saying yeah right lady ??? : you can say anything you case is over. But like I said I am only giving my point of view.

Truer words cannot be spoken. We are all on different roads of life and there are speed bumps that we all have to go over and never will one speed bump be the same as another and how you cross that speed bump is different each time also. No amount of stressing yourself over how you are going to go over is going to help you. You just need to take a step back, think about it and work on a solution for a way to make your journey over that speed bump easier because that is all you can do about it. A Jamaican moved to Barbados and bought a donkey from an old Barbadian (Bajan) farmer for $100.00.

The farmer agreed to deliver the donkey the next day. The next day, the Bajan farmer drove up and said, "Sorry, but I have some really bad news. "The donkey is dead!"

The Jamaican said, "That’s OK, just give me my money back."

A month later the farmer met up with the Jamaican and asked, "What 'happened with that dead donkey?" The Jamaican said, "The raffle was a huge success, I sold 1000 tickets at $2.00 per ticket and make a profit of $1,898.00."

Farmer: "Didn't anyone complain?"

Three Jamaican sons left home, went out on their own and prospered. Getting back together, they discussed the gifts they were able to give to their elderly mother:

The first son said, "Mi bill a big house wid land an gi mama."

The second son said, "Mi sen har a cris Benz wid a driver"

The third smiled and said, "Mi beat di 2 a unnu. Yuh memba how Mama use to love fi read har Bible? An yuh know seh she cyaan see too good. Mi sen har a Church parrot dat recite di entire Bible. It tek di elders inna di church 15 years fi teach im. Im exclusive man. Mama jus ha-fi name di chapter an di verse, an di parrot wi recite it."

Soon thereafter, Mother sent out her letters of thanks:

"Milton," she wrote one son, "A weh duh yuh bwoy, a chupid yuh chupid suh. Di house yuh bill too big. A mi one live inna one room, but mi always ha fi a clean di whole house."

"Winston," she wrote to another, "Yuh a eediat, yuh dun know mi too old fi travel. Mi always inna di yard, suh mi nuh use di Mercedes an di driver im too dyam facey!"

"Dearest Delroy," she wrote to her third son, "you have the good sense fi know what your mother likes. The chicken was delicious."

So ladies, I emailed the rcmp once again regarding my husbands prints and instead of saying his prints are not in the system they say I need to get my husband to send in a third party consent letter. I've emailed them about 12 times in the past and theykve never asked for 3rd party consent. I'm hoping this means that they probably do have his info in their computers.

Charlie I don't know if you ever answered this for me but do they email the results or mail it back to kingston.

Hahaha! You at work? Why aren't you out like everyone else enjoying the glorious afternoon. Only a little while left before kids go back to school! Or are you one of those Moms who rejoice when school time come? LOL.

I worked nights last night, 12.5 hour shift. I just woke up, lol. Just waiting on lostwithoutu to call and maybe heading out her way for the evening...

And YES, it is like Christmas for me when school starts! lol. I love my kids but 2 months of mouthy teenagers loses its sparkle after awhile lol
