Respected ALL,

I am extremely sorry to disturb you all,I have applied for PR:

AOR: Nov 2005.[CIC New Delhi](Hav'nt Recieved Updation Letter Yet.)

I want to change my NOC Code in my application. Is it possible?.Does it adversely affect the case.

Is it allowed to change previously submitted NOC Codes during Document Updation Process.

Your Kind Help will be of immense help.

If your earlier submitted NOC is elligible for passmark I would suggest that do not change now as the new 38 list has limited NOC. since your application is prior to Feb 2008 you will be evaluated based on the earlier NOC and elligibility standards. If you have the upgraded education and documents you can supplement them when they ask for your documents.
But if you passmark is not safe enough to get through and your new qualification and experience standards fall as per the new regulations then you can write to CIC with updated information and the same reference of AOR

Its OK, disturbing us is not a problem but 'disturbing' CIC with such kind of queries certanly is.

I wanted my NOC codes changed on my application and someone suggested to me I should write to them which I did a few weeks ago. And only yesterday I got a reply from CIC saying that once an application is submitted its not possible to amend the NOC. Hope this helps.

If any one wants to apply under new rules or under a new NOC code, one has to withdraw the old application and submit a new application under new rules.

SO if you already have waited for 2 plus years and have points greater than 67, it is advisable not to touch your old application and wait..

CIC may go in dpeth to see whether you really have a new NOC or you are just changing it to process your immigration faster.
