Hi Again: I misread what you received recently from the embassy: “Please be informed that this application is currently queued for selection review. The standard processing time for this type of application is now 12 months. Note that this application was received on 04 November 2009.” I read this to say: "currently queued for selection interview" . . . but that was wrong. I'm actually not sure what they mean by "selection review", but it might be beneficial for your sponsor to contact her MP to make a case-specific inquiry of the embassy.

Hi robsluv! sorry i just read the other message from the other member same as my case. Anyway, thanks for replying back! I really have no idea as well if they are still reviewing, will review or whatsoever. That was the answer of embassy to our MP last June 16, so i guess we can't follow up again this early. All I need to do is wait patiently and earnestly ask HIS help on our application. I do hope they won't ask for any interview,. we sent everything they need since my partner visited me last feb of this year. They wanted to see if ours is continuing Perhaps, that's the reason they asked for add'l proofs. We only met once before we submit the application last Nov 4, 2009. I don't know, our future is on their hands all I know that our intentions are pure and genuine. Thank you again for the time and effort ; you gave me hope when you said that we have a strong case! Will keep you abreast if any new comes in! Take care
