The exam itself was verrrrry easy. I read the book a few times and took some online exams and that was more than enough preparation.
One thing I did notice is the immigration officers (I assume they were) that check your ID and documents before you write the test were really being thorough with their questioning of some people. I'm not sure if this is where a RQ can be triggered based on the documentation and explanations you provide to them. The woman handing out the tests explained that if they needed more documentation from people that they would be notified and if not, the timeline to the oath is 1-3 months.
I applied for a VOS as I had lost my original landing papers and she didn't even look at it prior to the exam. She just told me to keep it safe and photocopied our passports that was it.
