Hello,

My person to be sponsored needs to get some papers translated (marriage cert and other things like this - I will need to get my paystubs translated I think too) - Now, in Korea, just WHO can translate these papers?

Thanks!

Most lawyer's offices have a translator either in their office or one that they use that is nearby. Find a lawyer's office. If you can't find one just go down to the local court house and look around the surrounding area. There will be plenty of them nearby who can translate/notarize for you.

Korean translators are not licensed or certified. They just do the translation, swear an affidavit as to the accuracy of their translation and CIC will accept it.

If you live around Suwon I can recommend one to you. They did a good job with my translations
