My flight to canada leaves tomorrow. I have a valid US passport, current residence with my name on the lease, family ties in the US (including my son). My expenses while in canada as well as lodging are being taken care of by my hosts (ive read cases where that was acceptable but of course all cases are different). I have spoken to the immigration office and they informed me that a return ticket was not required (as they believe i shoud not have much trouble apparently). My question, just again to ease my mind as much as possible, is do you believe in your opinion i shoud encounter a lot of hassle at the border?
