I don't understand why many people don't read the instructions before applying. They are not not qualified, but they still apply. That is why the number of applications is increasing and the wait time is increasing too.

To be frank, for those people who are not reading and understanding the instructions before applying, they should not be considered as skilled workers.

Sorry for my discriminated words, but I still cannot understand why?

Well, I respect your opinion but ....

Not every one writes here question because they haven't read the instruction. Often, we just want to re sure our situation and this is what forums are for. I remember my personal situation, where I was confuse.. and I got help from senior members here. That mean I wasn't qualified or I didn't read the instruction? I guess its just matter of mental satisfaction that we want to re sure if we are going to do things in right way.

To part of your post " That is why the number of applications is increasing and the wait time is increasing too ", its looks funny really, 5 years before there there were same numbers of applicant as today? people are waiting since 4-5 years and now even people are getting their visas in 2-3 months.

I am agree, people shouldn't apply to waste their money time plus time for CIC too who know they won't qualify ... But how you or we know ... Who is Qualified and Who is Not??????

In my opinion, Immigration Canada should simplify their immigration process for those who wish to work, study or immigrate to Canada. Their instructions, including immigration legislation and procedures, are very confusing even for those who were born in this country, never mind newcomers or overseas people. I see more and more Canadians who are in need of professional help and assistance for themselves or their relatives under the family class or other categories. I assume that this forum has been designed to provide general info only based on one's experience. All individuals have their own unique situation which needs to be analyzed and addressed properly prior to sending one's application to immigration authorities. I believe that taking legal advice/immigration consultation, from a Canadian lawyer/CSIC member is the best way to avoid unnecessary stress and problems.

I don't really agree with your statement "Immigration Expert'.
I have gone through the immigration processes and procedures of Canada, UK, New Zealand and Australia. Canada's immigration process is by far the simplest, if you read the instructions properly and use your common sense. Almost everything the applicant needs to know, is there in the instructions.

Sorry if I sound rude, but the way you have phrased your response suggests that you are just trying get some business for yourself, as an immigration agent.

Hi mahharrouf

I don't say about people asking questions here, because I am also asking questions in this forum. I am talking about many people who is not in 38 NOC lists and still apply in here and trackitt.

>> But how you or we know ... Who is Qualified and Who is Not??????

I know if I am qualified or not, because I read and ask questions here. It is very easy to know if you are qualified or not, do you?

Hellovn, if people want to take a chance in applying thats their perogative. I totally respect people who are willing to take that chance.

Personally, I think your statement is on the harsh side, however, it is a fair opinion and this is what forums are all about.

u r rite everyone has a rite to apply. in my opinion ppl who are asking questions and they r not eligible, are mostly those who applied before the new rules came so its not their fault bcuz their money has stuck .....in the time of recession every1 is facing hardest financial situation so they just cant let go everything so easily especially when it come to getting back the fee which is not a small amount for many ...

Indeed, I can agree with you to some extend. "Reading properly/using common sense with instructions and forms" is the most simple and necessary step in immigration process. As you may appreciate, then IRPA, its regulations, Supreme/Federal Court decisions, manuals and memorandums, etc create and follow them. Unfortunately, those things are not that simple and no one can't avoid them. This forum helps people to get practical knowledge and general info only, and it is great. Some people came here after they failed to share their experience and ask for advice. Please note, in some cases their failure is a result of an immigration professional/very well thought advice's absence. Now they have to learn everything from scratch, read immigration instructions and application forms more carefully, pay extra money and apply again. Some questions on this site remain without answer. That's why I decided to join this site and help people with their situations free of charge. So far I did not make even one penny and do not intend to make any. On the other hand, I enjoy helping with what I can, but also I encourage people to get legal or immigration advice when it's necessary or required (it does not have to be me:). In my opinion, it's a proper way and sound much better than let people fail from the beginning. Would't you agree with my statement?

Agreed!

It is also worth pointing out that the form filing can be a tough process for non-natives of the English language.

There are definitely some people who come here who don't really feel like reading the instructions and expect somebody here to be their immigration consultant for free but that's actually very few people. Most just have a question about a specific situation or they have gotten a bit confused in the forms and that's why this forum is here. If everybody could do everything themselves, we wouldn't need this forum.

Thats a fair point Leon, and I have noticed that myself. I think the few people that you speak of, want everything done the easiest and painless way without lifting a finger or burning a brain cell.

Santosh2000, no disrespect intended to you but merely a consideration for others . Could you not start a new thread as your question has nothing to do with this discussion. I see this a lot here and although the topic here is going nowhere, I always think it is disrespectful to the original poster.

In my opinion people come to this forum just to reconfirm what ever they have written or planning to do. Its no harm in seeking the expert advice. Like many questions as how to get official transcript, how to get PCC. So keep it up and share what we have.
