Just married, Marriage Certificate question.

Hi, my wife and I were just married and we can get the locally certified marriage certificate next week, our applications are done and ready to go, we are just waiting for the cert. There is another NSO Authenticated marriage certificate that is registered with the NSO (National Statistics Office) but that version will take a few months meaning my wife would have to go redo her police clearance. Is the locally certified marriage certificate sufficient or do we need the one from the NSO.

Send all that you have now then start getting the certified copy and forward it on to them. Which Immigration place are you applying to and from?

I am in London Ontario Canada so it will first go to the Mississauga office, my wife lives in Manila Philippines.

Our relationship timeline?
Met online Feb 2 2015
Decided to meet and marry a month later
met in person July 4th in Manila where we lived together for 24 days
married on July 24
Filled out our application
Returned home to London Ont. on July 28
Completed our application on Aug 10th
Saw lawyer to do a review on Aug 10th
Will mail the application next week once we have the locally certified marriage certificate and get my option C printout.

Hi. You can actually expedite the processing for the NSO certified marriage certificate. Dhe xan go to NSO to inquolire about it. We have ours expedited and got the mariage certificate in less than month. She can ask the NSO for -electronic endorsement or pbtain a letter for.endorsement from the local civil.registrar.
