Hi,
I have just received my Student visa along with off campus work visa for Canada...About 6 months back, I had applied for PR under FSW but my file was RETURNED as my file was received after the quota was full..I qualified for PR along with my spouse under specific NOC of FSW..I am the primary applicant and with my spouse exceeded the required points with 7 yrs of work ex...
despite me applying for PR before...i managed to get the student visa... possibly because i was very transparent and had attached all the cover letters of file return along with my study visa application...
my query is...Now that i have got my student visa Can i re-apply for PR as the same NOC under FSW has reopened for this year's quota? OR should i land and then apply?
If i apply before i land, will i face the wrath of immigration officer and eventually be deported?
My only worry is applying after i land which is another six weeks, i may loose this years quota as well.
All my documents are ready but confused whether to apply for PR or not? Pls advice.
