Hi experts, please help me clear some confusion. I just got the ITA, and am collecting documents for the application. However, i haven't done the tax return for last 4 years, my question is will they care whether i have done my tax return or not?

Any help will be appreciated!

Recommnedation: take them to an account/H&R Block/Whatever tax place near you and get them all done.

LOL, yes, of course. Better late than never, though. CRA is forgiving if you take steps to make things right. But if you don't and they catch you, it will not be pleasant...

My hubby received his ITA when Express Entry draw was 441. Our total score is 443. and as dependent I contibuted 16 points with the below score

Overall band 6.5....L: 6.5 Reading: 7.0, Writing: 6.0, Speaking: 7.

After we received our ITA with the above score , I came to know my IELTS is going to expire by April 18, 2017. So I wrote my exam again last week and I received my results today L: 7, R: 6, W:6.5; S: 6.5 and over all band : 6.5

But with this score, I am able to contribute only 12 points, in which total score will be: 438 where we will not fall under the cut off 441.

I have only 63 days to submit my profile.

What can I do at the moment?

1) Whether I can decline the existing ITA and create the new Express entry profile? But when I decline and create new profile ,our score will be 438. Do I hav chances that I will receive my ITA again?

2) Otherwise can I attempt IELTS one more time.

3) Any other suggestions?

Kindly input your suggestions.

Regards
Nislava

Too bad you weren't able to submit your eAPR before then. If you had, then your scores would have been valid.

So I wrote my exam again last week and I received my results today L: 7, R: 6, W:6.5; S: 6.5 and over all band : 6.5

Yes, you can decline the ITA, your profile will go back into the pool, and you can update the IELTS score. You should earn a new ITA quickly - the cutoff score for the most recent draw (this week) was 415. No guarantees it won't change, but you should be OK.

The only other suggestion would be to try the CELPIP...

I would say don't take chance to loose current ITA, if you can obtain better IELTS score better for this however you can always explain this situation in letter of explanation.
Be polite and clear as you did in your clarifications.
