Hello All,

With my COPR coming close to expiry date(Aug 8th) i decided to do a soft landing in Canada with my Wife,kid(6yrs) & infant(6months).
As soon as we landed we were directed towards the immigration machines where we had to scan the photo pages of our passports and print out the immigration recites with details of me and my family.
From there we were asked to collect our luggage and were directed to immigration counters where our PR will be finalized.
As soon as we entered the immigration center we had polite speaking folks at a small counter who took our details and gave us our token number. After that we had to wait in long line until our number comes in. Luckily,
since we were carrying infant and a kid our number came earlier than expected.
Then we met our immigration officer and she took our passports and copr and asked generic questions.
She then handed over extra copies of our copr filled with dates and signatures and cancelled the visa in our passports. She didn't ask for any other document that i was expecting to be asked like funds etc.
She didn't even ask us whether we were doing a soft landing or staying back there.
So, overall it took us 15-20mins with the immigration officer and that's about it.

Our process was complete.
Each one has a different experience. This was ours and it doesn't have to be same for all.
