Hi there, some of you may remember me. Im trying to bring a young Zimbabwean woman who is in South Africa through the live in caregiver program. She submitted her application end of April, passed her medicals, and was called in for an interview I believe the end of Sept. As I said in past posts, she was treated quite harshly by the immigration officer during the interview. I followed up by emailing the high commission a support letter, outlining why exactly I wished to hire her, copies of our facebook conversations, etc. We didnt hear anything, so a couple weeks ago she emailed an enquiry to Pretoria....no answer. I went to my local member of parliament yesterday for assistance, and he called me today...already has an answer from Pretoria! He cant tell me what they said until he receives a consent form signed by the young lady, which she will be faxing to their office in the next few hours. Our fingers are crossed, and prayers are going up! Will let you know what happens!
