Just Another Name Issue

Hello everyone.

I am currently getting my documents in order for immigration.

For the past 4 days I have been seeing a lot of thread on this forum where people discuss differences in their or their father's name and potential ways to resolve those issues. I am no different and I have a similar case. I have tried asking some immigration lawyers but I either do not get an answer on this (because they do not want to waste their time answering questions for free), or there is a difference of opinion.

My father's name on my IDs (CNIC and Passport) is the same (AAA BBB). However, in my educational documents (except for Secondary School certificate), there is an addition of the Surname at the end of my father's name (AAA BBB CCC where CCC is the Surname). Most of the educational institutions want people to fill in their surname in a separate Surname field on the forms. And it does not matter to them if it matches their IDs. In Pakistan people have different preferences on using their surname in government ID documents. Some people use their surname as part of their name e.g. AAA BBB CCC (where CCC is the surname), where as some people do not do this and stick to the simple AAA BBB name in their ID and other documents.

In my case, my secondary school certificate (from BISE Hyderabad) mentioned a Surname field, separately, where the Surname CCC is written. However subsequent documents, i.e. HSC (from BISE Hyderabad) and University documents, have added that Surname to my father's name (making it AAA BBB CCC) because none of those documents contain a Surname field and my IDs also do not have the Surname with my name or my father's name. My father's ID also does not have the Surname with his name.

Hence, my name is consistent throughout all documents according to my IDs. However, only on my educational documents, my father's name has an added Surname (AAA BBB CCC).

The HEC (Higher Education Commision) in Pakistan has no problems attesting these documents since they know that people have different preferences when it comes to their Surname. So they allow it. It is written on the notice board where you'd go online to apply for attestation.

Will there be any problem in this case with immigration authorities or WES? If yes, how can I resolve it if the University doesn't allow changing father's name to remove the Surname upon request?
