Can requesting ATIP at the end of 8 months of file processing slower the citizenship application process

Well I requested before that they were saying its in process

Now after requesting ATIP I got to know where my citizenship file is at missisauga

Agent said

Because before requesting agents were not saying anything much at all

After requesting I called they say it's at here and file is fine

But my question is the officer who is working with my file

Is he bothered that I have requested ATIP?

hope to have a reply soon

Sincerely

Thanks

You will have a reply if your CO was on this forum for sure.
Do you know your CO is on this forum? That is your real Million Dollar question.

Do not worry. ATIP is your right. CO may not be bothered by it. Do not keep on requesting again and again. Doing it once or twice in the entire processing time is ok. Do not become a compulsive ATIP requester.

There is no reason to do the ATIP application for personal records so early in the process unless you know there is something in your circumstances or history which is a potential problem. Even then, it is highly unlikely you would learn any useful information.

If you know of something in your circumstances or history which is a potential problem, far better resource would be a paid-for consultation with a lawyer, taking copies of all relevant documents to the lawyer (from your initial PR application to now), and engaging in a fully confidential consultation with the lawyer, focusing on those matters you have cause to think might be or cause a problem.

If you know of no reason to suspect cause for a problem: RELAX!. The timeline varies.

Really, the ATIP results will be largely if not entirely useless. Why not act like a citizen and avoid imposing unnecessary burdens on government services?
