Hello again.
Is there anyone here in these posters that got citizenship without an RQ? Lots of posts here from people who got one but what I want to know is what some, or any, did in their application to not get an RQ and get citizenship. Or is it the same old "luck of the draw" with CIC officers (I.e. Officer having a bad day - gives out RQ's because of it, ect...ect...)
It also sounds like the 2012 additions from Ottawa, as well as the fee hike, are trying to discourage becoming a Canadian instead being encouraged to do so. I will think about applying, but all this stuff about RQ's and "who's CIC officials desk you will land on" makes me think more than twice about it - even though I have been here in Canada for the required time (and more), have lived in in only one place and had only one job for the entire time.
Like mt pastor says - prayer is the best medicine, and I shall do that before I apply.
