Toady i mailed off my package with my "passport request" e-mail.... i put some other things in there with the letter, including copies of my passport (all pages with something stamped on it and the data page) since i'm from the US and we're a visa exempt country and don't need to send in our actual passports. but i also included some extra proof of the relationship, things like western union receipts, photocopies of plane tickets, some of my paystubs to show that i have been working etc., and some facebook screenshots to show that we've kept in contact over time and that we are open about our relationship with friends and family. was that a good idea? i figured sending it with something that already needed to be sent was killing 2 birds with 1 stone, since just in case they requested more documents... then they already have them. im just wondering if i should or shouldn't have done that.
also my pictures..... for some reason i always have a problem when it comes to getting pictures done for anything to do with immigration because everywhere i go no one has any idea what i'm talking about even though i show them the exact specifications on the peice of paper that i bring with me. i kind of had to cut them myself again, but they fit in the little box shown on the photo specification sheet... which i'm assuming is the exact size that the photo has to be. i just hope i dont have to do it again, it's so annoying having to explain to someone the exact dimensions it has to be.... especially when theyre not understanding it lol.
