Hi Guys,

I have send my wife app on June 25th 2016, CIC received on June 27th, and I received an email with AOR on July 17th 2016...so I m just wondering after receiving AOR, is that means i have approved as a sponsor? Or I still gonna receive any emails from CIC?

No it does not mean you are approved, it just means they received your application. It may not even be opened yet.

Yes i did receive my APR and my wife receive her medical to submit within one month. I dont know i guess is my wife close to get her pr?

Its good to see you are in good shape ahead. For my wife we have send her medical in May and since then no update..We don't even know if she passed or medical or whats going on...

Medical request was on May 5 2017
Sponsor decision made on October 13
File transferred to Edmonton office on October 26
Medical passed.

I guess you have to wait

Hi Thank you for your response. It makes me feel there's some out there are in same place as I am. If you can also englight me if they are doing security check, what does it cover..I mean what they do check?

Yes security and background checks cover criminal records and they check with countries stayed to see your have a clean record.

I want to know have they transferred your file to a local office?

No they didn't transfer the file to local office yet..
