JUNE 2014- LCP ONLINE APPLICATION- CANADIAN EMBASSY ABU DHABI- WAITING FOR VISA

Hi everyone! Pleasant day. I'm just wondering if how many weeks does CIC will ask my passport for stamping of visa. I'm already done with the medical. January 3,2015 Received the confirmation from them that I passed.

My employer received an email from Member of Parliament in North Vancouver that the visa should release in mid of January once I clear my medical. But until no, nothing yet. That's why I'm quite nervous.

Is any body have the same experience or any idea about this situation? Thank you.

You are not alone, me and cha022014 are waiting for PPR (passport request). After medical, CIC will be asking to submit the original police clearance. Make it ready the original police certificates.

All we have to do is continue to pray.

@joy28 @cha022014 thank you so much for the info. But how can I get a new Phil police clearance. Seriously stress right now. I thought they will not ask that clearance since I'm already in medical stage. Sigh. I already have the UAE police clearance. My only problem is NBI. Advice please. Thanks a lot

Hi, I applied Visa on 28 Jan 2015 under LCP from Pakistan. I am a non Filipino. Could you please let me know what next steps could be. How about your Speak Test, did you have any speak test or not? I have done IELTS and first aid course and attached certificates as well.

Me too, I thought they will not ask any documents because the medical is already finished. You need to get NBI as soon as possible. Go to Philippine Embassy and tell them you need NBI. You will fill up form, they take your finger prints, and give you certificate . Then immediately send it to the Philippines to your relative who can help you to get NBI. Make authorization letter to whom you authorize. It's better if you call first embassy before you go there about the requirements, they will explain to you.

Feb. 03 when CIC requested my passport and I've sent it Feb. 9, now I'm waiting my passport back to me.

Keep on praying.. nothing is impossible to God. GOD IS SO GOOD! :)

Hello,

I lives in Canada and I am applying open work permit for my wife. We are Indian passport holders, but my wife is born and brought up in Dubai and she is a Dubai residence. I have few questions.

1. can my wife apply her Canadian Visa in India even though she is a Dubai residence
2. If we apply the Canadian visa from Dubai, how long it takes to come. I heard that it will take 10 months to get the open work permit from CIC Abu Dhabi.

Waiting for any suggestions.
