joint bank account with spouse - authorization required?

hi all,

I maintain a joint bank account with my spouse. she is a house wife so she doesn't contribute to the money in the account. I am using the bank statement of this joint account as proof of funds.

do I needs to show the split of money in the account for me and my wife?

do I need to show some authorization from my wife that she has no issues if we take this money to Canada?

do i need to document that we jointly will take this money to Canada?

or i m just thinking too much here?

Are you applying together with your wife? If so then, the joint account is OK.
