What do you mean by "cra points"? Are you talking about the Express Entry program? If so, the selection isn't random - with each draw, people with above a certain number of points are selected. Recently the points haven't dropped below 480 - historically they have never been below 450.
If you have enough points, are selected and successfully immigrate to Canada - you'll still need to go through the process provided in the link above before you can work as a dentist.
