Hi everyone, I'm from Guatemala were me and my family (wife & 3 kids) currently live. We sent our application for outland spousal permanent residency on march 8 of this year. I have a question regarding work opportunities in case we receive the pr and we end up going to Canada. Is it possible before going to Canada to start looking for jobs, i mean would companies interview you long distance? Is it possible somehow to set up interviews before you leave or basically when I arrive in Canada start looking for a job?
thank you

Anything is possible but I would think success would depend on the particular job you are looking for and where in Canada it is. There are lots of variables in your question. Certainly researching and developing contacts is possible.

As someone who hires people, I suggest you spend that time researching resumes, how to interview here, and the different types of jobs you're looking for. If you apply for jobs overseas you're going to end up having your application discarded fast!

Wait until you're here with a PR CARD and SIN NUMBER, then go for interviews. You don't want to burn your potential prospects.
