I have been working in a small city in Atlantic Canada for the past three years and now I am bored of the job which has no growth. Me and my wife are considering moving to a bigger city, anywhere but not Saskatchewan and Alberta. I am in the Arts/Media/Films line, but again considering a career in accounting. I was told that Toronto would be a good choice, and some of my wife's relatives are staying there as well which could help us in the initial stages.
I was wondering if anyone knows if there are jobs in my field and whether Toronto will be a good option to move to look for jobs in the Arts/Media industry or would it be easier for me to just switch my career and go into accounting. I know its different everywhere, but any advise suggestion would be of great help.

Thanks!!!

Vancouver BC has a great movie industry..
So I have heard, but I have also heard that the real estate prices in Vancouver are sky high. This is one of the major reasons I don't plan on moving there. But if I do get a good job, I wouldn't hesitate.

the metro vancouver area is huge with lots of options; people probably end up paying the same in Toronto and elsewhere. If you're renting, the market is pretty much the same as other cities.
