Hi All,

I worked in clinical research field in India. However, the organization had wired job title for my job. It says “custodian”. I joined as “Trainee custodian” and later promoted as “Assistant custodian”. I think they recently changed to Clinical research associate. ( I am not sure) However, my job responsibilities include conducting clinical trials.

I am afraid when VO see my job title, he might not think that it’s a skilled position.

Any inputs are appreciated

Job title is not important. Job descriptions are the real thing

If your job responsibilities align with one of the NOCs 0, A, B, then there should be no problems. The main part is job responsibilities matching with responsibilities in that eligible NOC, and not the job title.

Thanks for your replies. That’s a big relief for me.

Fun fact : it’s Canadian Pharmaceutical gaint, Apotex for which I had worked for in India. Quiet surprised to know that the custodian job responsibilities are quiet different in different counties for same organization.

Have a great day.
