Hi my husband and I are applying to CIC, with him being the primary applicant. Regarding the Job Reference letter, the company that my husband is working for refuses to give one. But I do have his appointment letter, hike letter, his pay slips. Will these be sufficient enough to apply?

And also I need to send our documents to WES to be evaluated! Could someone tell me which one of the these should I choose is it 'Course by course' or 'degree by degree'

Thanks in advance
Hannah

A) You need a letter in a particular format depending on his NOC which mentions his duties. It should be signed by his manager and should have Manger's business card enclosed.

B) Document by Document assessment would suffice. Include all his degrees in the specified format, Bachelor's onwards.

All the best.

Thank you for your reply!
The problem is, the company will not provide such details on the company's letter-head, we tried explaining to get it stating a different reason. Ideally we do not want the company know that we are even trying to apply for an immigration. But I do have other documents as mentioned earlier. Will that help?

1. Tell the company its for immigration and also tell them that it won't be changing your employment status, since it could take more than a year to get it processed. Typically, they shouldn't have a problem.

2. If they still don't agree, then get it from a manager and get his sign and stamp - this may not be on a letterhead, so there's a chance they would reject it. Complement this letter with a normal job letter from the company. It may or may not work - but that's the best you could do in this situation.

Same here, my husband works for an multinational company in India; the company just refuses to give a letter! I'm clueless as in what to do.
