Hi,

I am an MBA from UK (First Class with Distinction in Dissertation) with eight years of work experience. I was refused Canadian student visa twice as I applied for a student visa with a diploma course.

Now I am thinking about PhD from Canada.

What are the job prospects after one finishes his Phd?

Please advise.

Many thanks.

Dude first worry about admission... Then Worry about visa... Then worry about job opportunities...

DO you think a Phd will struggle to find a job in Canada?? I dont think so...
I dont think there is a place in the world a PhD will have a hard time finding a job...

u have 8 years of experience and you are asking about job prospects. well u should know by now its not an easy answer.it all depends on ur field of study/occupation, ur soft skills, ur grades, ur networking skills , ur luck etc. Job market is not what it used to be. its getting more difficult as immigration rules r getting more stringent and they r making it more difficult for employers to hire immigrants over canadians. why dont u just go for express entry than go for study as u have 8 years of experience.
