Job opportunities for Asst. Professor in Engg colleges

Hello,

Myself and my wife planning to apply for PR through express entry pool, my wife she is having a Masters in Microelectronics and control systems from a university in India and having 4.5 years of experience as an Assistant professor in E&C engineering department. I would like to know what are the chances of getting a job for her in the engineering colleges. Or can she get jobs in the companies related to electronics and communication as a starter/fresher, since she doesn’t have any experience other than in the field of lecturing.

Teaching jobs tend to be quite difficult to secure (i.e. there are more teachers than jobs). Since she doesn't have a PhD, I would recommend she look at college teaching jobs (rather than universities). The best way to research is to look at job postings and see what the requirements are.
