If im going to Canada under the temporary foreign worker programme and get a positive lmia etc how long can the job offer be for?
For example, can my potential employer say he wants to employ me for two years?
Also, would that have to be explicitly stated in the job offer itself when i submit it when i apply for the visa?

Your question doesn't really make sense.

The first step is for your employer to apply for the LMIA and for the LMIA to be approved. Once the LMIA is approved, you can then apply for a work permit.

What i meant is that since the permit is tied to the job is there a time limit on how long the job can be for? And if there is would that time have to be included in the job offer?
