Hi All,

I have got a software engineer job offer from a company, however, the job posting was not listed under job bank. Is it possible to tell the employer to find and select my application from the job bank ? Is the employer still need to do the LIMA ?

Your employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA.

Yes - it tends to be difficult. Especially for IT roles since there tend to be plenty of people already in Canada to fill them. Your employer will first have to advertise the job for a month. Once the application is submitted, it's possible processing will take 2-4 months.
