Job Offer Whilst in Canada on a Visitors Visa.

Ok, so there is no way i can just go to the boarder crossing with, the number provided by my future employer, my passport and any related documents. and get a work permit there? I really cannot last in Canada for another 8 week without working.

You cannot apply for an IEC visa at the border - they can't be issued there since the process involves being selected from the pool and applying online. The only option is to follow the IEC process, submit your name into the pool, wait to be selected and when wait for your application to be processed.

If remaining in Canada for 8 week without working isn't doable, maybe fly home and then wait for approval from there?
