Job offer through a friend in Canada

A friend of mine has talked to his boss about me, and his boss agreed to provide a 1-year FT job offer to me
as an assistant manager (valid NOC for EE). Not LMIA supported.

However, his boss -verbally- said that he will test me as a part-time employee for at least 1 month before he actually considers me for full-time. And I agreed because I need that job offer so bad - despite the job has nothing to do with my background or experience.

He's happy to assist with CIC calls for verification.

Not sure if this has worked for anyone else? Getting a non-serious job offer to land to Canada and then change to a new employer, starting over.. etc?

Help?

Don't bump your posts after 20 minutes. If you are that desperate for an answer, go hire a lawyer/consultant.

The job offer is useless without an LMIA.

The employment offer is of no use without an approved LMIA. The employer must obtain an approved LMIA for this to be classified as a job offer.

Has the employer looked into the LMIA process? Are they willing to go through it? Note that it typically takes 4-6 months to get through the LMIA process end to end with no guarantee of approval.

scylla, Thanks for reply. I was looking into OINP and other nomination programs, they don't seem to emphasise on the LMIA. For example, the recent OINP for human capital stream, they targeted all the applicants who chose Ontario and have a job offer. http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNOI.html
What you are proposing to do is fraud / misrepresentation since the job offer is required to be full time.

This is a clear cut case of misrepresentation/fraud waiting to happen and cheat the system. Do you wish to risk it? Why or what have made you to go this route when 1000's are doing it the right way? Good luck.

On paper, it's full-time contract BUT the manager -verbally- said he will consider me for part-time for the 1st month and test my ability to handle the pressure. He can't just fire me. Poor truth is that I need this job so I have to accept whatever condition he puts me in, no other options. Not sure why you see this as a fraud, my friend (we both went to same school/ have same degree) has been working for this company for over 7 years now, and it's a 20 something year company so they wouldn't scarify their reputation for the sake of a new immigrant.
