Job Offer letter for CEC application

Hello,

One of my friend suggested me to Include Employment offer letter since I don't have work contracts...My offer letter was very old ..Is it necessary to include the employment letter for CEC? Work contracts has been mentioned in the check list as supporting document. Appreciate if anybody can respond to this? Planning to send the document by the week end. Thx...

Hi

copies of work contract and pay stubs are additional documents, you can include if you want but it's not mandatory.

Mandatory documents for work experience as given below:

• Copy of your most recent work permit
• copies of your most recent T4 tax information slips and your Notice of Assessment issued by Canada Revenue Agency
• up-to-date letters of reference from your past and current employers

Please also refer to Document Checklist.

My 2 cents is sending your offer letter may not hurt. Work experience is the main basis of eligibility under this class, so the more you can demonstrate, the stronger your application is.

The job offer letter is unecessary. What is essential is a current Letter of Reference from your employer. If you have that, your job offer letter adds nothing.
