Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has an idea about this:

I'm sponsoring my husband in the family class; applied October 2014, got SA Dec 2014 and awaiting COPR.

My husband (british) has luckily been offered a job in Canada through a former colleague. We were hoping based on previous processing times to have our COPR by now, but no luck. Are now worried we won't get it in time for him to accept this offer.

I'm wondering would it be Good for the application process, or Bad to let the CPC office know about this possibility?

Grateful for any feedback,

Thanks,
Lynda

I don't see how it would be bad, but it won't do any good. They're not going to expedite the process for him...unfortunately.

Now, if his colleague is willing to go through the LMIA process...but that would be crazy, since he's [hopefully] so close to landing.

I suggest keeping it to yourselves.

I honestly don't think they will care . The fact is Lynda, we could or would all be using that ,if we could speed up the application.

My husband has lost 3 jobs since waiting for PR.When we first applied London was speeding through application .I honestly thought my husband was going to be here in Dec 2014.

Thanks for your feedback guys - sorry to hear you're still waiting though! Hopefully it will be good news all around for all of us in the not too distant future!
Cheers,
Lynda
