Hello, just wonder if anyone has any experiences like this. :-X

I've just got my OWP under the family sponsorship pilot program (and my inland application is still in progress). It is no doubt that I can work anywhere in Canada by having the OWP but will I be able to take the job offer from the employer who is outside Canada?

This job is more like sales & marketing position focusing on the north American territory so I will also need to travel to the U.S. sometimes...will my OWP allow me to work like this without having any problems being reject to return back to Canada?

Any help is much appreciated!

==update==

one of my friend who just became a PR from the BCPNP, he told me as long as I'm holding a work permit then I should be able to leave Canada and travel freely...is this correct?

The OWP does not guarantee re-entery into Canada. While you "should" have no issues re-entering Canada - there is in actual fact no guarantee you will be allowed back in. So leaving always carries some risk. If for any reason you are not allowed back into Canada, your inland application will be effectively abandoned/canceled and you'll have to apply again from scratch using the outland process. Again, there's an excellent chance you won't have any issues re-entering Canada - but anything is possible.
