Job Offer from Canada

Hi, I work in USA as a Software Engineer with H1B visa. Could you please help me, if I can apply for a IT jobs in Canada with out any visa for Canada? Will any Canadian company gives jobs/offer letter with out any visa for Canada?
Note: I'm asking this just because if I have a job offer from Canada, I, a Software Engineer, can apply for Canadian P.R.

A job offer is only the beginning.

In order to be able to employ a foreign worker, the employer has to obtain a positive Labour Market Opinion (LMO) from the HRSDC (A Govt Department). To get this your prospective employer has to show:

1. The job has been advertised correctly (to or exceeding HRSDC guidelines)
2. The employer cannot find a applicant (Canadian citizen or PR) with equivalent or better experience than the foreign applicant.
3. The employer is offering the correct salary for the position.

If the employer can satisfy these requirements they will issue a positive LMO and you can then use this to apply for a Temporary Work Permit (TWP).

Your difficulty lies with point 2. IT professions are no longer deemed "In Demand" by the Canadian Govt, this makes it much more difficult for Non-Canadian residents to gain employment in the field with in Canada.

An employer may give you a job offer but this is no guarantee you will be able to get the necessary work visa to commence employment.
