Hi all,

Quick clarification please!

I thought I read somewhere that if you receive a job offer whilst in the Express Entry pool and - for whatever - reason turn in down, you then have to leave the pool and start your submission again. Does anyone know if this is true?

And, what happens if you receive a job offer and the soon-to-be employer suddenly changes their mind, do you get to stay where you were in the pool?

Yes, or an LMIA based job offer through a Canadian company.

In both cases you just need to update your profile asap so that it reflects your current situation. I don't see why you need to leave the pool.
If however, you receive an ITA before updating your profile, then you should decline it, since you will no longer be able to provide evidence for all your points you have been claiming.
