Do you think just a job letter would be sufficient to prove employment ? Would they ask for more documents? What if the job was performed 7 yrs ago? I dont have paystubs

Thanks

Fersal,
Look @ it this way. This is nothing against you. With the Technologies out there, do you think it is impossible to print out a "GENUINE" letter of employment, Letter of contract, letter of reference etc?.

There is a proverb in an African Language which says " To catch a Monkey you have to behave like one". What I mean by this is while you get your papers ready ask yourself the question, "Is this enough to prove". Put yourself in the shoes of the IO.

You are asking this question because you doubt it yourself. You fear that it might not be enough to prove, so the next step should be,
if I were u, what else do I have that can prove this.

I totally understand Bobby, what happens is that I was a trusted employee and because it was my cousin's business it was more like an informal job, but it was 100% genuine

Thanks

Fersal,
I fully understand your "plight", But you will definitely need a bit more to convince the IO. (I am not an Immigration expert nor a legal Advisor). I personally think that just a job letter will not do the trick (Suffice) but, I may be wrong.
Again, don't forget that this is just my opinion.
Let's see if any of the senior/Hero Members (john5655, Rupeshari, Leo, BCguy) have anything to say to this.

Good Luck.
