I am planning to apply through skilled worker route.

I currently have 2.5 years of working experience and with that i get 65 points. I will have 67 points with 3 years of experience.

If I apply now, it will probably take more than 6 months for them to start reviewing my application. By the time they review, I would have 3+ years of experience. Would they consider 67 points or 65 points?

Thanks a lot!

BTW, have you heard of anyone getting the visa through skilled worker having less than 67 points?

They would consider you to have 65 points (your claim) as you could have been fired/laid off the day you posted the application. Very very few receive a visa with less than 67 points.

Hi SSDANISH

Since you are very close to the lower limit I guess you may want to wait for another 6-8 Months in order to get the 3 years experience.

Meantime you could have more experience on your English/French skills

Any way the time goes very quick, trust me my friend just be patient

some time our rush feelings drive us straight to failing, please wait until you get those precious 3 years of experience.

Good luck!!
Eduardo

Thank both for your reply. However, I did not get the answer.

Do they add the experience from the time one applied to the time when they review the application?

Also, what is the average process time from Bafullo office?

Thanks much.

1. NO, read my answer.
2. Read www.cic.gc.ca and look under processing times.

PMM, I appreciate your reply.

The case you mentioned is if I lose my job, but I am certain that I will have the job until the interview. In that case, what is your best judgement? Will that experience count.

Thanks

Lost Job while Case Processing

Hi Friends,
I have applied in 2010, for 1111( FSW), I have over 8 years of experience. Right after I have applied I have resigned and for about 2 years I am housewife. Last week i have got a medical request ( Plus Schedule 1 and 3 request ). I don't have job at this time,i am bit worried, If i will mention that I am jobless(* house wife for 2 years ) will it effect my case ? Is continue job is requirement of Candian immigration ? do you think after medical they will review my case ? or Medical is the last step ? please please guide me.
thanks

Dear MS. SAlLKAM,

Your case is clear. Don't worry about being house wife now. VO has taken into account your past experience and has issued your medicals.

hello. im planning to apply this year just want to recheck my points.
i need 2 yrs of work experience to be qualified.
Is it necessary that all of your jobs lasted for at least one yr? or its okay to have at least 1 of your jobs to last for one yr?

my first work lasted for 10 months (nurse, hospital A).
and my 2nd work for 1 and a half yr (nurse Hospital B)..

i resigned November and transferred to hospital B november also.

will it be equivalent to 2 yrs( even if my first job did not last for 1 yr) ?? thanks
