Job Description Issue

Hello,
I am in Canada, on Work Permit (company transfer) and working as a IT PM.
I got the Employment letter stating as "Project Manager".
However, I see that on my Work Permit document, Occupation is "Software Product Developer."
Can anyone suggest , how to deal with this situation. I was planning to submit my application with PM NOC code as 0213.

Will this create an issue. If yes, what can be a correct solution. Thanks.

As far I know that's not a problem.

the important thing will be that your employment letter states the activities and those matches the NOC for which you are applying.

Have you found out any other detail on how to tackle this issue?
My WP is under software developer products but my JD would suit 2171 better

No not yet. I do have my initial letter that was sent to Immigration office which cleary states as Project manager. Hence, I may attach that too. Since, there is no other way , I may go with what I have i.e as 0213.

Was this letter sent for your work permit application?
ie u asked for work permit as project manager but they gave you software developer?

Thats correct. Seems it application was sent for PM but got as Software developer.

Had you applied under the Pilot program for IT workers (which had some developer positions which were exempt for LMO) , or had you applied after obtaining a LMO for your work permit?

You MUST go with the NOC which matches your job description, rather than the title.
