Hi,

I get New Job Match detected notifications via email every other week. I was wondering if these jobs are LMIA associated?

In other words, Lets say if i apply for these jobs, Will the employer apply LMIA?

LMIA is not for a specific category of jobs. It is a demand supply thing. If there is a job offer which pays at least median wage for a province and has no takers among Canadian citizens or PRs already in Canada, the employer can then justify hiring a foreigner for that job and bringing them over through the PR route.

Such jobs could include Nuclear magneto-resonance imagery specialist (made-up crock) in GTA, Information systems analyst in Yukon/Prince Edwards Islands or a Michelin star chef specializing in Bantu cuisine. The point being, an LMIA is a real possibility if either the job is super-niche or located in a province historically shunned by Canadians and most PRs.
